Evanescence 93X Family Reunion September 19, 2025

93X (KXXR-FM) is thrilled to gather in the Twin Cities with Family Reunion at Xcel Energy Center on Friday, September 19, 2025, for a night of raw, unrelenting rock. Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Evanescence will headline the show and will be joined by boundary-pushing artist Poppy and heavy-alt trio Black Map along for the ride.

“We’re fired up to bring the 93X Family back to Xcel Energy Center,” said Derek Madden, VP of Mainstream Rock and 93X Program Director. “With Evanescence leading an insane lineup, it’s going to be a night of pure electricity — and we can’t wait to tear it up with thousands of our favorite rock fans.”

Tickets for 93X Family Reunion go on sale to the general public Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com. For more information on the 93X Radio Festival, visit 93X.com.

In 2003, Evanescence broke through a male-dominated rock scene with their debut album Fallen, blending metal with symphonic, piano-driven melodies led by powerhouse vocalist Amy Lee. The album became a global sensation, earning multiple GRAMMY® Awards, selling over 17 million copies worldwide, and receiving a rare Diamond certification. Hits like “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal” dominated charts and helped define a generation. In March of 2021, Evanescence released their fifth studio album, The Bitter Truth, featuring the songs "Wasted On You" & "Use My Voice," both of which were nominated for MTV Video Awards, as well as "Better Without You," a Top-10 charting song at US Rock Radio, having spent an incredible 27 weeks on the chart. The band’s most recent single, “Afterlife” from the Netflix series, Devil May Cry, has had great success with over 20 million streams and over 10 million views on YouTube in just the first few weeks. “Afterlife” is the fastest-moving single of the band’s career.

Poppy’s fearless creativity and genre-defying vision have propelled her through the worlds of music and art, earning her a reputation as a boundary-breaking force redefining culture. From metal and bubblegum pop to performance art and graphic novels, her eclectic output is unified by a singular, ever-evolving identity. In 2021, she became the first solo female artist nominated for Best Metal Performance at the GRAMMYs, and in 2024, she reached new heights touring with major acts and releasing her fifth album, Negative Spaces—a bold, genre-blurring collaboration with producer Jordan Fish that showcases her continued sonic innovation.

Projecting a full-bodied voice with every inch of her being, Dorothy Martin kindles a spark of hope into a flame as bright as the sun itself. The Budapest, Hungary-born maverick singer, songwriter, performer, and frontwoman of the Los Angeles-based eponymous band Dorothy brings gusto, grit, and glory back to hard rock, exuding superstar-size confidence coupled with the quiet resolve of an old school Western anti-hero. Her vision really catches fire on the group’s fourth full-length album, The Way [Roc Nation], introduced by the single “Tombstone Town” [feat. Slash].

Black Map—featuring Ben Flanagan, Mark Engles, and Chris Robyn—fuses post-hardcore, alt-rock, and hard rock into emotionally charged anthems defined by powerful hooks and raw energy. Formed by members of Dredg, Far, and The Trophy Fire, the band has released several acclaimed albums and returns with Hex, their most urgent and immediate work yet.
