As leaders in the events industry, sustainability has become a way of life at Xcel Energy Center and Saint Paul RiverCentre where the culture is to celebrate Earth Day, Every Day. In addition to its ongoing, award winning sustainability practices, the facilities marked Earth Day 2017 with the entire campus being powered by Windsource from Xcel Energy.

Staff were also invited to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and celebrate at an outdoor gathering that included a recap of the facilities’ sustainability accomplishments from the previous year and an award presentation to the 2017 MSE Sustainability Hero Kate Setley. Employees in attendance were also given a spring plant to bring home to help green up their homes!
