Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo
FINALLY, RODEO IS BACK SAINT PAUL! Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo returns to Xcel Energy Center January 28 & 29. Rodeo fans can expect a trifecta of fun with action, entertainment and intense competition on the menu. Plan to witness a BATTLE TO THE FINISH as the world’s toughest cowboys are "in it to win it" in their mission to be crowned ProRodeo’s World Champion.
Fans will experience the absolute best of the best in cowboy athletes in Saint Paul as competition heats up to qualify for the multi-million dollar National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Every dollar the cowboys win puts them one step closer to the crown, and top contenders from across the U.S. will be lining up to compete in Saint Paul. We are proud to be ProRodeo!
Expect edge of your seat action, eight seconds at a time. Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo will spotlight fan favorite events: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding and Bareback Riding including the thrilling winner-takes-all Showdown Round and Women’s Barrel Racing.
ProRodeo’s best in entertainment will also be featured in the 2022 edition of Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo. Roger Mooney, National Finals Rodeo announcer and fan favorite, will return to call the action and generate rodeo excitement. John Harrison, six-time National Finals Barrelman and three-time ProRodeo Comedy Act of the Year, has worked coast-to-coast and will entertain the fans and keep them on the edge of their seats.
Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo has doubled up on pre-show fan fun as the rodeo opens at 6 p.m. each night for a free (with ticket) pre-show event "down on the dirt." Come early for pony rides, meet the cowboys, hop in the clown’s barrel, take a seat in the bucking shoots on our live photo bulls Sonny and Silver Dollar, or get up close and personal on a behind the chutes tour.
Load up your family and friends and make memories to last a lifetime!

No Bags Permitted
NO BAGS are permitted inside the arena to help reduce staff touchpoints and expedite entry times for guests. This includes clutches, clear bags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs, etc. Guests arriving at the venue with these items will be asked to return them to their car. Medical and diaper bags are permitted at Gate 1 and are subject to x-ray screening. Small wallet in pocket or on lanyard permitted.
Pro tip for faster mobile entry: Add your tickets to your phone's "wallet" and have a fully charged battery.
Mobile tickets are like an airline boarding pass which can be accessed with a smartphone via the Ticketmaster app or mobile site in a QR code format and scanned at the gate for entry.
Once you are within 48 hours of your event, log on to your Ticketmaster account and add the mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet/Google Wallet app. Once you have added to the app, your QR code will be accessible for entry. This bypasses the need for Wi-Fi or cellular data at the gates.
Guests are reminded to fully charge their smartphones prior to arriving at the venue in order to access mobile tickets. Click here for more information.
