NCHC Frozen Faceoff Returns to Xcel Energy Center March 22-23

Following a successful first championship weekend in Saint Paul last March, the NCHC Frozen Faceoff returns to Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild, on March 22-23, 2019. With the new home for the Frozen Faceoff firmly established, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has created a new logo representing the conference's championship weekend and announced ticket information for the 2019 Frozen Faceoff.
The new Frozen Faceoff logo, designed by Touchpoint Media in the Twin Cities, prominently features the unique-shaped Frozen Faceoff championship trophy awarded annually to the winner of the NCHC Tournament. The new circular logo carries over the color scheme of dark blue, red, powder blue and gray, as well as similar fonts and the NCHC mark, from previous Frozen Faceoff logos. In addition to the hockey stick-shaped handles on the trophy, also giving the new logo a hockey feel is a puck inside the "O" in "FROZEN."
Fans who purchased all-session tickets to the 2018 Frozen Faceoff will have the first opportunity to buy tickets to the 2019 championship, with ticket renewals beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 18. All-session ticket buyers from last season will receive an email from Xcel Energy Center on Sept. 18 with instructions on how to purchase 2019 tickets, including upgrading seat locations and purchasing additional tickets. Ticket renewals must be completed by Friday, Oct. 12.
