GRAMMY® Award-winning, acclaimed alternative rock pioneers The Smashing Pumpkins have announced the Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, their first tour in nearly 20 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha. Indie rock band Metric will support them on the tour.
The monumental Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the band’s formation, will highlight music from the group’s inception through 2000, and will exclusively feature material from their groundbreaking debut Gish through Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore and Machina.
Construction and Parking Alert
Beginning on July 30, the City of Saint Paul will be closing the westbound lanes of Kellogg Blvd. from Washington Ave. to W. 7th St. to replace bridge expansion joints and resurface the concrete deck. The anticipated reopen date is scheduled to happen around September 30. The Kellogg Parking Ramp will be closed during construction.
Due to the construction of the RiverCentre Parking Ramp, event parkers are directed to park in one of the many other downtown parking ramps and lots. Please visit this link for an interactive parking map. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time to park, use public transportation and carpool.
If you pre-purchased parking for The Smashing Pumpkins through Ticketmaster, your parking voucher will be valid at the Smith Avenue Transit Center.
