There exists a popular saying in business that “you can’t manage what you can’t measure.” In other words, it is hard to show success without metrics that back it up.

Saint Paul RiverCentre, Xcel Energy Center and our partners believe that measurable goals are vital to an effective sustainability program. In fact, we take it one step further by making all our results public. For us, being a leader means that we transparently tell the story of what we’re doing, with specific metrics showing how we are doing.

For example, we don’t just publish our recycling rate – we also include the breakdown of how we got that number. And we describe what we did to get there. The links below highlight the measurable results of our sustainability efforts.
