Following a sold out November 2nd performance, Xcel Energy Center and Jam Productions have announced that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to Saint Paul for a second show on Sunday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m.  

This is the first full scale tour for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since 2002-03.  Touring members of the E Street Band are: Roy Bittan (keyboards); Clarence Clemons (saxophone, percussion); Chales Diordana (keyboards); Nils Lofgren (guitars); Patti Scialfa (vocals, guitar); Garry Tallent (bass); Steven Van Zandt (guitars); and Max Weinberg (drums).

Danny Federici, an original member of the E Street Band, is taking a leave of absense from the current Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour to pursue treatment for melanoma.  Charles Giordano, who played with Bruce as a member of the Sessions Band, will temporarily fill in for Danny until he is able to return.  Federici has been playing keyboards with Springsteen since the late sixties.  Said Springsteen, "Danny is one of the pillars of our sound and has played beside me as a great friend for more than 40 years.  We all eagerly await his healthy and speedy return"

Springsteen has been nominated for four Grammy Awards: Best Rock Album (for Magic), Best Rock Song and Best Solo Vocal Performance (for "Radio to Nowhere"), and Best Rock Instrumental Performance (for "Once Upon A Time In The West", a track from We All Love Ennio Morricone).

The concerts include a good deal of material from Springsteen & the E Street Band's new album, "Magic," which surfaced Oct. 2, shot to No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart and then reclaimed the top position three weeks later. Lead single "Radio Nowhere" is also charting on the Pop 100 and is streaming at The Boss' MySpace page.

This will be Springsteen’s sixth time performing at Xcel Energy Center, fourth with the E Street Band.

**** GENERAL ADMISSION / WRISTBAND POLICY ***

• Wristbands are distributed between 2pm - 5pm at Gate 1
  
• Only those attendees with a valid GA ticket will be permitted to receive a wristband. (Wristbands are non-transferable.)
  
• After receiving a numbered wristband, please report to Roy Wilkins Auditorium at 5:15pm.
  
• Once inside Roy Wilkins Auditorium, please follow the signs to your wristband number and line up in numeric order. (Guest Service representatives will be on site to assist)
  
• After everyone has been lined up, a single number will be drawn. This winning number along with an unspecified number of other wristband recipients will be given a second wristband.
  
• Prior to public opening of arena doors, these lucky second wristband individuals will be escorted into the Xcel Energy Center and gain access to the floor section closest to the stage. Individuals winning the second wristband will be able to go freely in-and-out of the special section throughout the show by showing the wristband to the pit security. If you are a winner, please keep your wristband on during the entire show. Thank you for your patience and participation.
  
• To be eligible for the special section, you must be in attendance at Roy Wilkins Auditorium with your wristband and valid GA ticket.
