USA vs. Canada Olympic Exhibition Game

USA Hockey brings the USA vs. Canada Olympic Exhibition Game, featuring the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team, to Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, December 28.

The Olympic Exhibition game, sponsored by Liberty Mutual, will feature the 2013-14 U.S. Women's National Team playing Canada in preparation for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

“We’re excited to bring this game to the State of Hockey,” said Reagan Carey, director of women’s hockey at USA Hockey and the general manager of the 2014 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team. “The U.S.-Canada rivalry is the best in the world and fans will be treated to not only world-class hockey, but also to the last game our team will play in the U.S. prior to the Olympics.”

The U.S. Women’s National Team has played at Xcel Energy Center five previous times in preparation for the Olympic Winter game, including Oct. 6, 2001; Sept. 20, 2005; Dec. 30, 2005; Sept. 25, 2009; and Dec. 30, 2009.
