AAA - Emergency Automobile Assistance

As a service to our guests at the Xcel Energy Center; AAA Minnesota/Iowa in conjunction with Grand & Smith Mobil will provide complimentary emergency automobile assistance for up to one hour after every Minnesota Wild home game. They are located inside the entrance to Gate 1.

Access Privileges

100 Level Concourse: All Patrons with a ticket to the event or proper working credentials.

Executive Suite Level: Suite Level ticket-holders or properly credentialed working personnel only.

The Saint Paul Club Level: The Saint Paul Club Level ticket-holders or properly credentialed working personnel only.

Accessible Information

Xcel Energy Center meets or exceeds all structural and service requirements as stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The following services are available to accommodate the needs of our disabled guests.

Accessible Ticket Policies: For each price range, 1% of the total number of seats offered for sale to go to the general public will be wheelchair accessible and 1% of the total number of seats offered for sale to the general public will be companion seating to the accessible seats.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD): Headsets and receivers for the ADA approved Telex ALD system are available free of charge at the Guest Services Booth located at Section 104/105 and the Gate 5 VIP Concierge Desk. Either a driver’s license, credit card or check deposit is required to ensure return of equipment.

Accessible Drop-off: Accessible drop-off area is located at the Southeast entrance (Gate 1) of Xcel Energy Center on Kellogg Blvd.

Accessible Parking: Accessible parking is available at RiverCentre Parking Ramp, Kellogg Parking ramp and all other parking lots.

Accessible Seating: There are accessible and companion seats available in all price levels. Seating locations varies depending on particular events. Please indicate when buying tickets if you require accessible seating.

Elevators: Elevators are located throughout the arena for wheelchair access to all levels. Patrons with disabilities receive preferential access to elevators during all events held at the Xcel Energy Center.

Telephones: Accessible telephones are located on the various levels of Xcel Energy Center. TDD/TTY phones are located at Gate 3 on the 100 Level and in Touchstone Energy Place by the Box Office. A complimentary portable TDD/TTY phone is located at the VIP Concierge Desk at Gate 5 for The St. Paul Club and Executive Suite Levels.

Animals: Trained guide dogs or service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted inside the arena. All other animals are prohibited.

Emergency Evacuation Program: Designated Xcel Energy Center ushers have been trained in proper procedures for emergency preparedness. These designated employees will have primary duty of assisting patrons with disabilities to specific locations.

There are 5 Wells Fargo ATM’s for your convenience, located throughout the Xcel Energy Center. Baby Changing Areas

Baby Changing stations are located in all public restrooms. In addition, Family Restrooms are available on all levels of the arena.

Banners and Signs

Banners are allowed in the arena for some events, however they may not be hung or fastened anywhere in Xcel Energy Center.

Camera Policy

Following rules are general and can be overridden based on a specific request from the attraction or promoter:

Sporting Events: Non-flash, still cameras of any type may be used to take pictures of sporting events or events where house lights are illuminated during a performance. Any tripod or other photography equipment may not be used or placed in any area of the building without building issued Media Credentials.

Concerts and other events: Cameras with a detachable lens or lens of more than two inches are prohibited from all Xcel Energy Center concerts. The use of flash photography is also prohibited. The Event Producer reserves the right to deny camera use at any time during or before the concert and to prohibit the use of any camera that is deemed unacceptable.

* Video Recorders or Digital Cameras with recording capabilities are prohibited at any time during an event. The Xcel Energy Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit use of any camera that its personnel deems unacceptable. Tape recorders are not allowed at any time at Xcel Energy Center. Failure to comply with the Xcel Energy Center Camera Policy may result in the film being confiscated.

Cellular Phones & Pagers

The use of cellular phones and pagers is permitted provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event.

Charitable Donations

Requests for donations should be received 30 days in advance of the event date and written on company or association letterhead. Please mail requests to 317 Washington Street, Saint Paul, MN, 55102.

Children

For most events children younger than two years of age do not require a ticket if held on the lap of an accompanying adult. Fold-up strollers should be stored under your seat while non-folding strollers should be checked at Guest Services, located at Section 104/105, on the 100 Level. Community Relations Center

During all Wild home games, fans may visit the Community Relations Center behind section 124 for more information on Wild community programs. 10,000 Rinks Foundation: In the MN Wild’s first season, the newly formed 10,000 Rinks Foundation raised hundreds of thousands for the Minnesota Youth Hockey Programs. The Foundation primarily focuses its efforts on partnering with key amateur hockey organizations and supporting numerous youth oriented groups. The Children’s Hospitals and Clinics has been chosen as this years featured partner. Through positive leadership, inspiration, and education, the Foundation works to teach children life lessons so they may become better teammates, both on and off the ice. State Of Hockey Tribute:

In the years leading up to the completion of the Xcel Energy Center, Minnesota Wild and Xcel Energy Center officials envisioned museum exhibits in the arena dedicated to Minnesota’s contributions to the sport of hockey. Below are listed the exhibits that can be viewed in the Xcel Energy Center:

Wells Fargo Jerseys: The jerseys of 181 high school hockey teams are on exhibit on the Executive Suite Level. These represent 146 boys and 35 girl’s programs, and are a fitting highlight to the hosting of the annual State Tournament in the building.

U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibit

The Main Concourse’s Iron Range Grill restaurant features six exhibit cases with artifacts from the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth, Minn. Three particular inductees are featured: Frank Brimsek, John Mariucci, and John Mayasich, along with general information on the Hall and its exhibits. In addition, the walls feature photomurals of past Iron Range teams from Eveleth, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, and Virginia.

Amateur Hockey Awards

Located outside the Iron Range Grill just inside Gate 4, this area features the Hobey Baker, Patty Kazmaier, and Mr./Ms. Hockey awards. The Baker and Kazmaier awards honor the best male and female college players while the Mr./Ms. recognize the most outstanding male and female Minnesota high school hockey players respectively.

WCHA Jerseys

As the host of the WCHA’s Final Five Tournament, the Xcel Energy Center displays the Jerseys of the association’s ten member schools just inside Gate 2.

Minnesota State High School Tournaments

As a complement to the high school jersey exhibit, St. Paul Pioneer Press’ headlines from twenty four selected tournaments are displayed on eight support pillars that surround the lower bowl. The exhibit begins with the very first event in 1945 and includes representations from the second level boy’s tournament as well as the girl’s competition, which began in 1995. Saint Paul Hockey Champions The St. Paul Club Level honors Saint Paul minor league (plus one major league) champions representing the seasons of 1915-16, 1939-40, 1948-49, 1959-60, and 1964-65. The exhibits include a replica jersey, St. Paul Pioneer Press’ headlines/photographs, and appear on six support pillars that surround the seating area. A hockey/corporate timeline has been placed on the wall in the Northeast corner of this level, which is sponsored by The St. Paul Companies. The timeline features significant events in both Minnesota hockey and St. Paul Companies’ history.

Other Exhibits

Exhibits featuring the Minnesota North Stars and Minnesota’s contributions to past Olympic teams can be found at Gate 3, while the 100 Level features photo murals on historic arenas and a jersey display on small college hockey. The original Zamboni from the St. Paul Auditorium has been restored and will be positioned on the 100 Level.

Broadcast TV

Minnesota Wild games, which are televised can be seen on Fox Sports Net (FSN) cable television and KMSP FOX 9 over-the-air television. Mike Goldberg provides the play-by-play and Mike Greenlay is the color analyst . Fox Sports Net North reaches more than 2.5 million homes throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas. Nationally, Fox Sports Net reaches over 74 million homes through its 21 regional sports channels, and it serves as the first truly nationwide, regional and local supplier of sports programming. Through its cable and translator penetration KMSP FOX 9 can reach more Minnesotans than any other television station. Based on Nielsen TV and Cable TV household estimates, KMSP 9 touches more than 1.7 million households in and outside the Twin Cities metro area.

Broadcast Radio

Listen to Bob Kurtz and while former Minnesota North Star Tom Reid serves as the color analyst for each and every game across the Minnesota Wild 10,000 Rinks Radio Network. WCCO Radio (830 AM) is the official flagship station of the Minnesota Wild. All Minnesota Wild games can be heard on WCCO Radio (830 AM) and the 10,000 Rinks Radio Network. Any preempted games will be heard on KDOW 950 AM.

From the West:

Avoid the congestion at the Kellogg Blvd. exit. Take 94 east to the 10th Street, 5th Street or 7th Street exit. After you take any of these exits, look for parking, you are only a 10 to 15 minute walk to RiverCentre/Xcel Energy Center.

From the Southwest:

494 east to Hwy 5 (which turns into 7th Street), after you cross Grand Avenue, look for parking, you are only a 5 to 10 minute walk to RiverCentre/Xcel Energy Center.

494 east to 35E north to Shepard Road exit, right on Shepard Road, left on Sibley Street, look for parking, you are only a 5 to 10 minute walk to RiverCentre/Xcel Energy Center.

Elevators / Escalators

Elevators are located throughout the facility. The escalator on the 100 Level at section 107 provides access to The St. Paul Club Level and the 200 Level.

Emergency Event Phone Number

The Emergency Event phone number is (651) 726-8200. This number can be used in any case of emergency during an event. If you are expecting an emergency phone call, please leave your name and seat location at Guest Services at section 104/105. If a message is received, a Guest Services Representative will deliver the message to you at your seat.

Exit and Re-Entry

There is no re-entry to the arena.

Family Room

A family room is available for selected events at the arena. The family room provides parents or chaperones of event patrons, who do not want to purchase a ticket, a free place to relax in a hospitality suite-type environment, throughout the event. Limited refreshments will be available, along with television and/or movies played on the family room’s theater-style projection system.

Letters to Wild players should be mailed to 317 Washington Street, Saint Paul, MN, 55102. Please address letters to players individually.

First Aid

Regions Hospital First Aid Station is located at Section 104/105, next to Guest Services, on the 100 Level. Contact any Xcel Energy Center staff member if you need assistance.

Food and Beverages, Bottles & Cans

Guests are not permitted to bring any outside food or beverages into Xcel Energy Center. Containers including bottles, cans, thermos bottles, and plastic coolers are not permitted for the safety and protection of our guests. Beer and Alcohol sale during hockey games: With 10 minutes left in the third period of all hockey games, all concourse beer and alcohol sales will end. The St. Paul Club has bar areas which open 20 minutes after the game, The Iron Range Grill stays open 20 minutes after the game and Headwaters restaurant stays open up to one hour after events. Beer and Alcohol sale during concerts and other events: Beer and Alcohol sales end one hour from the scheduled end of the event.

Gate Opening Times

All gates open one hour prior to all events. Exception is the VIP Gate 5, which opens two hours prior to all Minnesota Wild Hockey Games and 1½ hours for most Non-Wild events, allowing premium seat holders early access to The St. Paul Club Level restaurant and the Executive Suites areas. (There may be occasional gate opening time changes for special circumstances)

Guest Conduct

Xcel Energy Center is committed to providing a fun, family atmosphere in the arena. Guests using foul language or appearing to be in an intoxicated condition will be ejected from the arena. Guests wearing obscene or indecent clothing will be denied entry. For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, noisemakers of any type (e.g., air horns, cow bells, etc.) are prohibited. The use of Laser Pointers is strictly prohibited and will result in ejection. If someone is interfering with your enjoyment of the event, please contact an Xcel Energy Center staff member.

Guest Services

There are two Guest Services Centers in the Xcel Energy Center. The Guest Services booths are located on the 100 Level at Section 104/105 and at Section 206 of the 200 Level. It is staffed with knowledgeable Guest Services Representatives who will assist you with your questions and concerns. Guest Services phone number is (651) 726-8200 during an event and (651) 265-4867 during daytime.

Hockey Lodge

The Minnesota Wild 'Hockey Lodge' Team Store is located in the main lobby of the Xcel Energy Center. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and during each Wild home game. As the official team store of the Minnesota Wild, the Hockey Lodge offers fans the widest variety of team publications and merchandise. Minnesota Wild merchandise is also available online at http://shop.wild.com. A smaller version of the Hockey Lodge is also located on The St. Paul Club Level, behind Section C9-10, and is open during Wild Games. Please call the Hockey Lodge at (651) 726-8250 for more information on your merchandise needs. Summer store hours are Monday - Saturday from 11am to 5 pm.

IKON Business Center

The Minnesota Wild has partnered with IKON Management Services to provide an on-site business center to assist you with all your document needs. Some of the services include: Copying, Printing, Scanning & Finishing. The IKON Business Center is located directly across from Gate #5 and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and during all Minnesota Wild home games until 7:00 PM.

Lost and Found

During an event the Lost and Found Service is located at Guest Services at Section 104/105, on 100 Level. Found items will be stored for 30 days. To learn if an item has been recovered, please call (651) 265-4800. Xcel Energy Center is not responsible for misplaced items.

Lost Children

Guests are encouraged to instruct children in their group what to do if they get lost. If a child is lost or separated from his or her group, the child should ask the nearest Xcel Energy Center staff member for help. A lost child will be taken to Guest Services at Section 104/105. Parents looking for a child should follow the same procedure. Children who retain their ticket stub are much easier to locate and bring back to their seats and parents.

Xcel Energy Center has merchandise locations throughout the arena to satisfy your souvenir needs. Minnesota Wild official merchandise can be purchased throughout the arena during a game and at Minnesota Wild Hockey Lodge store all-year-round. (See Hockey Lodge for Wild apparel).

Parking

The Xcel Energy Center is serviced primarily by two ramps, RiverCentre and Kellogg, directly connected to the complex. RiverCentre and Kellogg ramps fill up early and alternate plans should be made for entering the city, as well as finding parking during events. There are more than 50 parking ramps/lots within a brief walk of the Xcel Energy Center. Patrons can check the Park Smart! map or www.rivercentre.org for locations and alternate directions.

Pay Phones

There are a number of pay phones located throughout Xcel Energy Center, with the largest number being near the Box Office at Gate 1. TDD/TTY phones are located at the VIP Concierge desk at Gate 5 for The St. Paul Club and Executive Suite levels, at Gate 3 on the 100 Level, and in Touchstone Energy Place by the Box Office.

Police and Security

For your safety and convenience, security personnel are stationed throughout the arena. If you have an emergency, please notify the nearest Xcel Energy Center staff member immediately.

Restaurants

Headwaters Bar and Restaurant is a first class dining facility, located on The St. Paul Club Level in Section C2-C7. You must have a Premium seat ticket (Club, Suite or OTG) for entry. Headwaters may not be open for certain non-hockey events. For more information or reservation, call (651) 726-8400.

Iron Range Bar & Grill is a hockey theme sports bar, located near gate 4 at Section 120 on the 100 Level. The Iron Range Grill has a full menu including hamburgers, chicken tenders, soup and sandwiches, and much, much, more. We also feature a bar serving a full selection of liquor, beer, and wine. The Iron Range Grill is open two hours prior to all Wild games as well as many other events in the building. For more information, call The Iron Range Grill is (651) 726-8205.

Restrictions

In the interest of guest safety and enjoyment, the Xcel Energy Center reserves the right to prevent certain items from being carried into the arena. These include, but are not limited to, weapons or anything else that can be used as dangerous projectiles. Similarly, other items that may jeopardize the safety or viewing/ listening enjoyment of the guests may be prohibited.  Xcel Energy Center bans guns on the premises.

Smoking

Xcel Energy Center is a smoke free building; smoking in your suite is strictly prohibited. Designated smoking areas are located outside the building at Gates #3 and #4.

Box Office – Will Call:

The Box Office is located in the main lobby, off Kellogg Street on the southeast side of the Xcel Energy Center. The Box Office is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM during the Minnesota Wild season, Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM during the off-season, and four hours prior to events on weekends.   • Group Sales: Patrons interested in group outings of 20 or more should contact a Minnesota Wild Group Sales Account executive through the Group Sales Department at: 1-866-XCELTIX or 651-222-Wild.
  • Executive Suites: The Executive Suites are located one level above the 100 Level as well as between Section’s 106 and 114 on the 100 Level. Each Executive Suite holds 12-18 guests in a luxurious, spacious seating area with amenities rivaling any premium level in the area in all sports/events. Some of the features include: A Premium Service Concierge inside climate controlled area complete with Cable and Satellite TV, ice-maker, sink, refrigerator, Internet access, coat closet, and more.   • Event Suites: Xcel Energy Center has eight Event Suites, available for groups on an event-by-event basis. The Event Suites are located in the corners of the Xcel Energy Center and have the capabilities for holding up to 49 guests. Event Suites are available to rent for every Minnesota Wild game and most Xcel Energy Center events. For more information call (651)222-Wild.
  • Suite Hospitality Rooms: The Executive Suite Level is equipped with two hospitality rooms, a 50 and a 70-person room, which can be converted to create one large meeting space. Arrangements can be tailored to fit any need you may have from casual, informal gatherings to high-tech sales presentations and/or formal dinner meetings. Please call (651) 222-Wild for information regarding rental costs and availability.
  • Resale of Arena Tickets: To protect your investment, Xcel Energy Center prohibits the sale or resale of any ticket under any circumstances. Under Minnesota state law, tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a price higher than the amount printed on the ticket. All parties involved in such transactions are subject to prosecution. Any ticket resale to a broker will immediately constitute revocation of any Minnesota Wild Season Tickets and loss of ticket renewal privileges.

Tours

Tours of the public areas of the Xcel Energy Center are available and are normally done on non-event Tuesday's. Reservations are required. Alternate times may be available depending on the Xcel Energy Center event schedule.
 
Tours Begin at Gate 1 of the Xcel Energy Center (Southeast Entrance on Kellogg Blvd.) Our tours include a fifteen minute informative lecture on the many amenities of our complex. We then guide each tour through the four levels of our facility, explaining what each level has to offer.

Transportation Buses

Shuttle Service: Minnesota Wild/Bud Light Shuttle Smart trolleys provide service to the Xcel Energy Center 2 hours before and 2 hours after all hockey games. For more information call (651) 223-5600.

Xcel Energy Puck Wall

The Xcel Energy Puck Wall is located behind Section 124 on the 100 Level. For a $100 donation to the United States Hockey Hall of Fame and the 10,000 Rinks Foundation, you’ll get your name placed on a puck that will be embedded in a puck wall in the State of Hockey Tribute.
