altRegarded as one of America’s most intimate arenas, Xcel Energy Center is a one-of-a-kind multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, adjacent to the Saint Paul RiverCentre complex and The Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Situated on a six-acre site and encompassing 650,000 square feet, Xcel Energy Center is home to the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild, the National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) Minnesota Swarm, and more than 150 spectacular entertainment events annually.

Xcel Energy Center first opened its doors on September 29, 2000, when the expansion Minnesota Wild defeated the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim 3-1. Since its victorious beginnings, the hockey club has sold out every game ever played at the arena.

With four separate concourses on four seating levels, plus the Al Shaver Press Box on the fifth level, Xcel Energy Center’s open concourses are fan friendly, measuring as much as 70 feet in width providing an open view of the arena floor. The venue seats 18,064 for hockey games, and each of its four levels are strategically positioned to create great sightlines. There are 74 executive suites; 12 on the 100 level and 62 on the Club Cambria Executive Suite Level. One level above is the Treasure Island Resort & Casino Club Level, which boasts approximately 3,000 luxury seats, an exclusive merchandise store, and upscale food and beverage options anchored by Headwaters, a full-service bar and restaurant.
